As a former prosecutor and law enforcement officer I provide clients with the experience and first-hand knowledge of understanding the law enforcement, prosecutor, and defense sides of the legal system.

Commercial & Residential Evictions

Representing landlords in residential and commercial eviction actions for nonpayment of rent, failure to comply with the lease agreement, failure by the tenant to vacate after termination of the lease agreement, or failure by the tenant to comply with Florida State Statutes regarding a tenant's conduct.

After the eviction is complete our office will represent the landlord in an action for a judgment for unpaid rent. Cases are handled on a flat fee basis plus the court costs. Serving Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough Counties.

Venessa Bornost, P.A.

Venessa Bornost earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern School of Law and received a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University in Criminology. Ms. Bornost worked as a prosecutor in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit at the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office handling DUI's, criminal traffic violations, misdemeanor crimes, drug offenses, domestic violence cases, and felony cases. Ms. Bornost's experience as a prosecutor involved jury trials, nonjury trials, motion to suppress arguments, and daily courtroom criminal procedures.

Prior to attending law school Ms. Bornost worked as a Deputy Sheriff with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. During her seven years with the Sheriff's Office Ms. Bornost investigated and arrested 100's of individuals for possession, sale, trafficking, and manufacturing of marijuana, cocaine, and MDMA.

Ms. Bornost has the knowledge, training, and experience working wire-tap investigations, search warrant, buy and bust operations, knock and talk encounters, indoor marijuana grow investigations, and street level undercover buys. Ms. Bornost has worked patrol operations which entailed responding to calls of service and working traffic accidents and writing traffic citations.

While working as a police officer Ms. Bornost also worked with Major League Baseball as a Resident Security Agent with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays which involved assisting players in security and providing support to Major League Baseball in areas relating to criminal and civil matters.
